The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating seven burglary and malicious damage incidents that happened early Wednesday morning in the area of Old Spartanburg Road.
Deputies were called by alarms that first sounded at 1:00am and continued until around 3:30am.
Halls Food Mart, Two Chefs To Go, SuperCuts, Yoganize, Pizza Hut and China were among the businesses that were targeted on South Batesville Road, Pelham Road, Northwest 97 Terrace and Old Spartanburg Road.
Investigators say someone used a pry bar or tool to get into those businesses. They also used a brick in one case, but there was only one report of anything being stolen.
One business lost cash from a register.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
