Woman Accused Of Hiring Voodoo Doctor, Stranger To "Beatdown" And Maybe Kill Husband

Greenville, SC -- A woman in her 70's--charged with trying to hire a hit man to rough up and possibly kill her husband.

Greenville County deputies say 71 year old Sieglinda Falk Bass, offered up to $500 to a would-be hit man. She admitted on tape he could kill him if he wanted.

Deputies say Bass approached the man on August 1st, after he met her to talk about buying a car from her.

The man says she started talking about what she wanted done, and she was recorded 2 days later.

She told the man she wanted her husband's arms, legs, and genitals broken. And she said hired a Voodoo Witch Doctor to put a spell on him. Bass suspected her husband of cheating.

Investigators say the couple live in an apartment complex off Pelham Road in Greenville.

Bass has been charged with solicitation to commit a felony. She has been released from the Greenville County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
