A family survives after bullets are shot into their Greenville home. It happened around three Sunday morning at the Shemwood Crossing Apartments off old Augusta Road.
A grandmother, her granddaughter and a 4 month-old were all inside the apartment sleeping.
Police say they were actually in the area, responding to a burglary call when they head the shots. They also say in June and July, they received calls from that apartment complex, so there will now be extra patrols in the area. Police reported seeing a man with a red shirt and jeans running from the area right after shots were fired. If you have any information, call CrimeStoppers at 23-CRIME.
