The fire that 8 different fire departments spent most of yesterday fighting, rekindled Tuesday. Several calls from anxious homeowners in the area called 911 to report the blaze. Reidville Fire went sent back to the scene Tuesday, along with GSP Fire, Duncan and Pelham Fire. The Forestry Commission also was asked to bring their bulldozer to cut new fire lines. Rehab units were sent out the scene to assist firefighters with water and coolants because of the intense heat.
The fire jumped yesterday's fire line, but was brought under control about an hour later.
