**Update**
The Union Public Safety Department reports a third teen has been arrested in this case. Kristopher Fleming was arrested and was charged. Police say his mother convinced him to turn himself in Tuesday afternoon. Fleming is in the Union County Detention Center.
A 15-year old Union teen was arrested over the weekend, charged in a violent June home invasion that left an elderly man bruised and bleeding.
84-year old George Means tells News Channel 7 he was awakened on the morning of June 29th by someone breaking through his front door. He says he walked into his living room to find three young black males inside his home.
"They told me they were the police," said Means. "I said, 'You ain't no police!' And that's when they threw the bricks."
According to a police report, the intruders threw several bricks at Means, hitting him once in the chest. Means says they also punched him in the eye. The robbers took about $50 out of his pants and also stole a hammer and some shoes before leaving. Means says he later had to go to the hospital to be treated for the injury to his chest.
"It was rough," said Means. "I didn't know what was going to happen to me when I saw them there."
Union Public Safety Chief Sam White says later that day, the same three suspects attacked a 47-year old man who was walking down Spring Street. According to an incident report, three young males hit the victim from behind, knocking him to the ground. They did not take anything from him. Police are not sure of the motive behind the attack that took place in broad daylight.
One week later, 21-year old Jeremiah Antonio Sims of Gaffney was arrested in connetion with both crimes. On Saturday, a 15-year old juvenile from Union whose name is not being released was also arrested. Both are charged with first degree burglary and lynching. Sims is in the Union County Detention Center. The 15-year old is in the custody of Department of Juvenile Justice. Police are still looking for the third suspect, who they believe is also a teenager.
