Chase With Shots Fired In Laurens Neighborhood, Suspects Sought

A neighborhood is on edge after a short chase with shots fired into the air late Wednesday night. Laurens Police said they started following a white Chevrolet Tahoe with five men inside who were shooting a gun..
Officers said they ditched the SUV and the gun a block away near Miller Street and ran away. Neighbors told News Channel 7 they were told to stay inside for safety.
Police planned to serve a warrant on the suspected driver early Thursday morning, but they are still looking for the rest of the people in the SUV.
