During a radio station interview, Sanford said coping with an empty home is "the hard part" and there are "consequences for mess-ups in life".

Governor Mark Sanford said he will not run for president and politics are not in his future after his term expires, according to 'The State' Newspaper.
Until then, Sanford said he plans to focus on giving future governor's the tools to succeed, creating a department of administration and imposing spending caps on lawmakers.

Also, Sanford admits he is lonely. Sanford's wife Jenny moved out of the governor's mansion in Columbia with their children to stay in their Lowcountry home after his admitted affair with an Argentinian woman.
According to the 'Greenville News' during a radio station interview Sanford said coping with an empty home is "the hard part" and there are "consequences for mess-ups in life".
