Case Will Go To Grand Jury In Berea Murder Case

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A Greenville County man accused of shooting and killing a man during a robbery four years ago will have his case go before a grand jury.

Kendrick Nesbitt is accused of killing Tracy Lowe in 2005 at an apartment complex in Berea. The solicitor says it happened during a robbery. Nesbitt was not in court Wednesday morning. A Greenville County cold case detective spoke in front of Judge Dianne Cagle and told the court how Nesbitt made references to the homicide to Richland County deputies earlier this year.

The defense argues that Nesbitt only admitted that another man, someone he once roomed with in prison, shot and killed the victim.

Kendrick Nesbitt was already in jail on murder charges. He is accused in the murder of a woman at a Columbia ATM in January. Nesbitt has an extensive criminal record.
