The South Carolina Highway Patrol announced Wednesday morning a 17-year-old girl may face charges in a crash that killed a man from Greenville. The crash happened at Fairview Church Road near SC-418 in Greenville County about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers said a 40-year-old man from Greenville was driving a pickup northbound when a Jeep going the opposite direction crossed the center line.
The vehicles ran right into each other. The name of the victim has not been released, and the teen was taken to Greenville Hospital System. Troopers have not told News Channel 7 the name of the teenager until they decide whether they will file charges against her.
