The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist is dead after an accident in Greenville County. Kathy Hiles says the driver of the motorcycle lost control and laid the bike down. The Greenville County Coroner's office identifies the victim as 57 year old Dennis Kilgore from Piedmont. The coroner's offices says Kilgore died of blunt force trauma when he was hit by a vehicle driving behind. The coroner's office says Kilgore was an emergency room doctor previously working at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
The accident happened at Reedy Fork Road and Garrison Road in Southern Greenville County.
