It was a delicious day at Foxfire showing off the 2009 Supper Swap Girls Favorite Local Foodie Gifts! What you didn't see on camera was all of our foodie proprietors watching their products get profiled with pride in their eyes. These are folks that put their passion into their products and it shows!
The soap, dog biscuits and bbq sauce are all available right now at Foxfire Kitchen Gallery on Augusta Road AND they will ALL be for sale on Sat Dec 5th at the Downtown Greenville Saturday Holiday Market. Come out with us and buy some great local foodie gifts!! We have on good authority from some of our favorite farmers that there'll be spinach, broccoli and local salad greens available- YUM!
SSG Restaurant Good Honey Vinegarette
1 part Olive Oil
1 part Balsamic Vinegar
1 good squirt of Mustard
2 good squeezes of Local Honey
1 teaspoon of Crushed Garlic
Fresh Black Pepper to taste
Place all items in a jar and SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE. Pour into a warm pan over medium heat. Whisk gently until incorporated. Remove from heat and drizzle over local salad greens!!
