The Union County Council has set a date for a special election in which residents will vote on the county's future form of government.
February 23rd, voters will decide whether to have a County Supervisor who is elected every few years, or a County Administrator who would be hired by the council.
This comes in the wake of a number of political resignations and indictments in the county this past year.
