Master Deputy Melissia McKinney says Battle was caught in the city of Spartanburg and Owens was caught in Greenville County Friday afternoon. Both men were arrested without incident.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men wanted in a murder that occured Christmas morning. Investigators say Julian Deandre Battle and Clinton Dupree Owens are wanted in a shooting death that occurred at Parkwest Apartments on Hillandale Road in Greenville. Greenville County deputy coroner Tom Selfridge identifies the victim as 29 year old Rafael Dodd of Memphis, Tennessee. The coroner says that Dodd has family in the Greenville area.
The Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from 357 Hillandale Road, around 12:30 am that a male victim had been shot. Investigators say responding deputies were told that a female and Clinton Dupree Owens were involved in a verbal altercation when the victim tried to defuse to problem. As the victim talked with Owens, a second argument erupted between the victim and Julian Battle, an associate of Owens. In addition deputies report Battle became enraged with the victim and pulled out a weapon and shot the him. The victim was shot in the upper body area.
As part of their investigation Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit was able to determine the identity of the suspects as the following:

Warrants for Julian Battle have been obtained for murder and possession of weapon during a violent crime, a murder warrant has also been issued for Owens. According investigators, Battle and Owens were last seen leaving the scene in a late 1990s model, white Ford Crown Victoria, with tinted windows, and a raised suspension. The suspects are believed to be armed.
