Walmart confirms to News Channel 7 that a Walmart return center will bring hundreds of jobs to Spartanburg.
The Walmart return center in Bibb County, Georgia will be closing by mid-September and the operation will be transferred to a third party and relocated in Spartanburg County on North Blackstock Road.
Employees at the Georgia facility are being notified of the job changes.
The third party that will run the center has been identified as XCEL Logistics.
There will be a Job Fair at the Middle Tyger Campus of Spartanburg Community College for those interested in the jobs.
That will take place Friday, February 20 from 10am to 7pm and Saturday, February 21 10am to 5pm.
