Coming Up At The Statehouse

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Coming up next week at the Statehouse the House Ways and Means Committee presents its state budget proposal to the full House. Cuts are expected across the board as the state struggles with falling revenues and a soaring unemployment rate.

Representatives from the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind will travel to Columbia to give their budget proposal before a Senate subcommittee.

Senate lawmakers will also look at a bill currently in subcommittee that would require anyone giving testimony before a legislative committee to first be placed under oath.
