Best Buy is looking to hire nearly 60 employees for a new store in Waynesville, NC while a packaging company will hire nearly 50 workers in Spartanburg County.
Best Buy will open on April 17 in the Waynesville Commons according to The Mountaineer. Store manager Adam Smith advises potential workers to apply online at the Best Buy website according to the newspaper.

Sterling Contract Packaging of Spartanburg will hire close to 50 workers because of a contract with a Massachusetts company according to our coverage partners at The Herald-Journal.
The deal with Kaz Incorporated will require Sterling CPI to open a second facility in a 30,000-square-foot space at the Corporate Center, a flexible business park at Business I-85 and Bryant Road.
The new facility, which will be located in a space that was formerly occupied by Progress Lighting, is expected to open in April and will be at full capacity later this year according to The Herald-Journal.
