Authorities say an escaped inmate may be in the Upstate looking for her ex-husband.
The SC Department of Corrections says 34-year-old Beverly Susanne Adams walked away from a minimum security work detail in Columbia Friday night.
She is serving a 5-year sentence for accessory to a felony in Greenville County.
Late Tuesday night, Greenville and Laurens Counties issued a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) stating that Adams may be headed to Clinton where her ex-husband lives because she has made threats against him in the past.

She is a white female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. The name “Gonzalez” is tattooed on the left side of her neck and an “S” on the back of her neck.
