Upstate Christians spoke out Tuesday night for the right to put the Cross on their cars.
Several hundred people turned out for a rally at the People's Baptist Church in Greer, and they got support from some political heavy-hitters. Lt. Governor, and potential Gubernatorial candidate, Andre Bauer spoke out on his support of the "I Believe" license plates, as well as Attorney General Henry McMaster. McMaster is also a potential Gubernatorial candidate. The plate is currently caught up in the court system, and a federal judge ordered the state DMV to stop making the tags. Opponents say the plates violates the separation of church and state. But those at tonight's rally say their rights are being ripped from them.
