Back in November, the districts restricted washing cars, watering lawns, and other non-essential uses to conserve water. Those districts were: Big Creek, Broadway, Hammond, Highway 88, Homeland Park, Sandy Springs, Starr-Iva, West Anderson and Williamston. Officials say the public's cooperation saved millions of gallons of water during the two months of extreme drought restrictions.
