Coming up next week at the Statehouse only half of the General Assembly will be meeting in full to try and save the state more money.
Senators will only be holding committee budget meetings next week while the House will meet in full.
The House Judiciary Committee will meet to debate a bill that would require a woman wanting an abortion to wait 24 hours after viewing an ultrasound of the fetus to have the procedure.
And the House Commerce Committee will take up a bill that would put new restrictions on payday lenders though critics have argued it doesn't go far enough. One part of the bill would increase the amount a person can borrow from $300 to $600.
