An Upstate bride-to-be with a weekend wedding on hold due to a judge's order says it will go on.
Summer Cooksey says attorney Sean Cobourn, who is representing the Wendswept Plantation Homeowners Association, told her Tuesday his clients would not take any legal action to stop her wedding on Saturday.
On Monday, we told you the homeowners association is suing the owner of Spiegel Farms, Sue Spiegel, in Campobello for violating covenants. A judge issued a temporary injunction stopping the farm owner from engaging in any commercial activity until a hearing scheduled next month.
There's no word on whether the homeowners association will pursue legal action if other brides continue with their weddings in the next few weeks. Calls made to Mr. Cobourn late Tuesday were not immediately returned.
