Reward Offered to Solve Pendleton Murder

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward to find the gunman who killed a man in Pendleton in November.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says Chacoey U. Johnson was found shot to death in his home at 213 Circle Drive on November 15, 2008.

Deputies say they were told by witnesses that two persons were seen fleeing the incident location in a two tone truck described as either red and white or brown and tan.

Johnson was commonly known as “Black” to persons in the Pendleton and Seneca areas according to investigators.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $2000.00 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects in this homicide case. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (864) 231-STOP.
