Shots Fired, Man Run Over By Truck After Argument Turns Violent

A fight between two men turned into gunfire and ended with one of the men being run over by a pick up truck.

The violent argument unfolded around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the intersection of Hilltop Road and Fuller Road in the Arkwright community of Spartanburg County.

Spartanburg County Sheriff's Deputies said two men who knew each other got into a fight. One man started shooting at the other. Next, deputies said the other unarmed man got in his truck and ran over the gunman. The suspected shooter was taken by ambulance to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. No one was actually hit by the bullets.

Investigators are still deciding what charges if any the two men may face. The identities of those involved haven't yet been released. The condition of the man run over hasn't been released.
