The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly fire Thursday morning.
The coroner says the 58 year old James Richard Taylor died in the fire at a house at 40 Wallace Street in the Duncan Community. Fire crews were called to the scene right at 9:00am and say they found the victim dead after they arrived.
Investigators say that evidence was discovered on the back porch of the home. They say the house has heavy smoke damage and the porch was destroyed.
At this time the fire is not deemed as suspicious according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
