A 17-year old has been charged with multiple auto breakings across Greenville County.
Investigators say William A. Chambers of Greenville was responsible for crimes in the Botany Woods, Pine Walk and Half Mile Lake subdivisions from July 15-24.
Sheriff's investigators say Chambers faces four counts of auto breaking, five counts of financial transaction card fraud, four counts of financial card transaction theft, three counts of grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny

GSCO Deputy Matthew Armstrong says video surveillance tape showed Chambers using stolen credit cards from those vehicles at area businesses.
The Sheriff's Office says most of the vehicles that Chambers broke into were unlocked and the valuables were left by owners in plain sight.
Chambers was arraigned before a judge Tuesday and is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on $68,000 bond.
