**Thursday 9:40am Update**
A shooting victim is in intensive care Thursday morning following surgery after he was shot several times outside Club LaRoka in Greenville County.
Matt Armstrong, Public Information Officer for the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says a witness saw the victim and the suspected gunman arguing outside the building around 2:45am. The witness went back inside the club - at 1308 South Pleasantburg Drive - to get security when gunshots were heard.
The victim, who is 31 years old, has told investigators he didn’t know the man who he was arguing with when he was shot.
The name and condition of the victim have not been released. GSCO investigators have not named a suspect or given us a description.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred outside the La Roca Night Club, located at 1308 South Pleasantburg Dr. in Greenville.
The witness says he saw the man flee on foot towards the Quality Inn, which is located on the opposite side of the club.
The suspect is described as African-American and was 25-30 years old. He was approximately 5’9” and weighed 180-200 pounds. The man was wearing all black at the time and had "long braids" or "long braided hair" according to the witness description.
