Greenville Police says a man was wounded in the arm as he passed by a car while driving on Rutherford Road early Wednesday morning.
The victim was hit in the arm and drove himself to North Greenville Hospital in Travelers Rest for treatment after the shooting near the intersection at North Main Street around 3:00am.
Police investigators say the victim told them he had an argument at a nightclub on Cedar Lane Road and was later followed in the North Pleasantburg Drive area by a white Ford Crown Victoria.
That car followed him for five or six miles according to the Greenville Police incident report.
The victim says he passed the car when shots were fired from the Crown Victoria.
