Add yet another name to the list of those running against 4th Congressional District Republican Bob Inglis. Senator David Thomas will officially announce tomorrow his intention to run for Inglis’ seat with several stops in the Upstate. Thomas will make announcements in Greenville, Spartanburg and Union. Thomas tells News Channel 7 he is running because he thinks the district needs “a clear conservative voice in Washington.”
Thomas has been a state senator from Fountain Inn since 1985. He joins Solicitor Trey Gowdy who announced he intention to run against Inglis on Monday, Christina Jeffery, Andrew Smart and Jim Lee have also announced.
