**Update Monday 8:30 a.m.**
Sherri Burris and Christine McAbee have both had their bonds set at $30,000 and are still in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
Two women have been arrested and charged with an overnight robbery spree in Spartanburg County.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office arrested 30-year old Sherri Burris, of Cowpens, and 44-year old Christine McAbee, also of Cowpens, and have charged them with three counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.
Authorities say the couple began their alleged robbery spree around 9 pm Saturday night at the Lil' Cricket convenience store at 4884 Highway 221 in Spartanburg. The Sheriff's department says an hour later the two women robbed the Lil' Cricket convenience store at 847 Battleground Road.
However, the couple allegedly was not successful in an attempted robbery attempt at Deb's Mini Mart at 3697 Highway 221 early Sunday morning and were later apprehended after they left a Hot Spot convenience store at 675 Gossett Road. Later, deputies spotted and stopped a gray Honda Civic that matched the description of the car used in the robberies at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road and Burns Road. At that time both women were taken into custody.
They are currently being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
