The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America - a nationwide nonprofit organization - will expand its Charlotte operations and create 1,014 jobs over the next five years.
550 jobs will be added immediately. Although wages will vary by function, those jobs will pay an average annual wage of $35,982 according to NACA.
“North Carolina remains a strong presence in the U.S. finance sector and this is a tremendous opportunity for the Charlotte-area,” Governor Beverly Perdue said according to a news release. “Our top-rated business climate and skilled financial services workforce are attractive to growing national operations.”
Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America operates more than 40 offices nationwide. NACA currently employs about 100 workers in Mecklenburg County to originate and process mortgage loans.
