Clemson University police says a van carrying campus mail was stolen from Sikes Hall around noon Monday. The University's Mail Service office reported the van was carrying mail for 13 deapartments or buildings and had picked up outgoing mail from 11 other departments.
The University police have notified the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and other law enforcement agencies about the theft.
Here is a description of the vehicle: white 1999 Ford van has windows like a passenger van and the number 99-282 in the left rear window. The license tag is SG75421.
