On the first offense, the phone will be confiscated and the student will serve one day of in-school suspension. The phone can be returned on the parent's request. On the second offense, the phone will be taken and there will be two days of in-school suspension. On the third offense, the phone will be confiscated for 90 days, or end of the school year, plus two days of in-school suspension. The new policy also includes pagers and other electronic devices.
