The Upstate SC Chapter of the American Red Cross goes to Laurens Thursday to help provide meals. The group planned to leave Grove Road, Greenville around 11:30 a.m. Mike and Jan Brown are trained Red Cross volunteers. They are driving the emergency response vehicle to Laurens County to provide cold drinks and snacks to the families whose homes and yard were affected by the storms. They will meet another trained volunteer when they get to Laurens County.
