Deputies Search for Woman Charged With Attacking and Robbing Her Disabled Mother

Renee Kay Hawkins, 39, is charged with attacking her 66-year old disabled mother and stealing her purse and Chevrolet Suburban.
A Roebuck woman has been charged with attacking her physically disabled mother and stealing her purse and vehicle.
Renee Kay Hawkins, 39, is charged with assault and battery high and aggravated nature plus grand larceny for the incident early Wednesday morning. She has not been arrested.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office reports Hawkins assaulted her 66-year old mother at a home on Haystack Hill after an argument
Deputies were called to the residence at 12:30am and say the victim is physically disabled and was pushed to the floor by Hawkins. The incident report says Hawkins hit and kicked her mother in the torso. A third person at the home called 911 during the incident.
Deputies say the victim has a prosthetic leg.
Investigators say she stole her mother's purse, house telephones and a silver 2004 Chevrolet Suburban.
