COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Employees and agents of South Carolina's Law Enforcement Division are planning on getting a soaking to raise money and collect food for Harvest Hope Food Bank.

People can donate $5 or a bag of groceries Thursday and get three tries at dunking SLED volunteers into a tank of water at the law enforcement's headquarters in Columbia. SLED Director Reggie Lloyd says employees at his agency don't just lock people up in South Carolina but that they also work to improve the quality of life for the state's residents.

Lloyd says the effort will help support the food bank as it helps hungry families across 20 counties in central South Carolina.
