CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Forecasters say the hottest weather so
far this summer is expected across South Carolina.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory Friday
afternoon for much of eastern South Carolina, where forecasters say
highs could top out at 100 degrees, with high humidity making it
feel five to 10 degrees hotter.
It won't be much more comfortable in the rest of the state,
where highs Friday are predicted to be in the upper 90s.
Forecasters say the heat should continue through Saturday before
highs cool a few degrees into the mid 90s.
