Spartanburg Deputies Say Home Invasion Was Hallucination

Spartanburg County Deputies responded to a home invasion on Rexford Drive in Moore Tuesday evening.

The scene is now clear and the search has been called off for a suspect after deputies say the person who made the 911 call hallucinated the incident.

Deputies say the eldery caller is in poor health and the medications that he takes sometimes cause hallucinations.

The 911 call referenced a home invasion with shots fired at 315. Deputies say there was no break-in, no shots fired, and no suspect. No charges filled due to the poor health and mental state of the caller.
