Charges have been filed against singer Chris Brown, a month after an
alleged attack involving his girlfriend Rhianna.
L-A prosecutors have charged singer Chris Brown with two felonies including
assault.... after an argument with his girlfriend Rhianna.
Police have never identified Rhianna directly but today's court documents
list the victim as Robyn F. Rihanna's real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
The incident happened last month before the Grammys causing the pair to
suddenly cancel a performance.
The night before witnesses in this los angeles neighborhood saw the couple
pull over in Brown's rented Lamborghini. Police arrived after neighbors
reported hearing a woman screaming.
Since Brown's arrested the celebrity tabloids have been buzzing.
There are reports the couple have met and are reconciled.
19 year old Brown remains free on 50-thousand dollars bail but the arrest has
damaged his squeaky clean image... compelling some sponsors to drop him or not
renew deals.
If convicted he could be sentenced anywhere from probation to almost five
years in prison.
