Christy M. Cox, age 31, is charged with distribution of methamphetamine. The Sheriff's Office says an undercover officer was able to purchase the drug from her residence on Walters Morris Drive in Seneca.
The Oconee County Sheriff's Office fired Cox immediately from a job she has held since January 2007.
Cox was booked at the Oconee County Detention Center.
