News Channel 7 has confirmed that John Ludwig, Junior will have a bond hearing Friday on a charge of murder.
The 13th Circuit Solicitor says Ludwig, Jr. will appear in court from the Greenville County Detention Center by closed circuit TV. This is a normal procedure for bond hearings.
Ludwig, 36, is charged with murder in the death of Frederic William Bardsley at his home in Travelers Rest.
The Highway Patrol concluded that Ludwig was driving at least 85mph when his Maserati ran off Roe Ford Road and crashed through Bardsley's home on Admiral Way on April 25.
Ludwig is in the Greenville County Detention Center under no bond since his arrest on May 6. He was arrested by SLED officers at his sister's home in Lincolnton, Georgia.
Ludwig stepped down as Chief Executive Officer for SDI Networks in Greenville prior to his arrest.
