The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office has identified and arrested the man they believe in dozens of burglaries in Roebuck.
Donald Hamilton Hill, Junior, 46, was arrested near the Spartanburg County border with Laurens county following a tip from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. He is charged with burglary 1st degree and assault and battery with intent to kill.
Greenville deputies recognized Hill from a composite sketch released following an attempted burglary on May 11 at a home in Roebuck. That suspected robber reportedly left the scene driving a Nissan Pathfinder.
Hill was arrested in Greenville County on May 2 while driving that type of vehicle.
Spartanburg County Sheriff's investigators say Hill admitted to committing burglaries in the Bordeaux, Timm Creek, and Dorman Meadows neighborhoods.
Hill is facing charges now from a home invasion on Spirit Drive on Monday. The homeowner says he fought with Hill until the suspect ran out of the house.
More charges are expected to be brought against Hill.
