A few showers have been lingering throughout the southern end of the Upstate and parts of Western North Carolina Monday. As we head into the evening, look for more rain showers with some areas seeing heavy rain at times. We also may see some thunderstorms into Monday night.
Low pressure slowly moving up the Mississippi River will continue to circulate moisture throughout the Southeast, keeping clouds and rain chances around. As with the past couple of days there will be plenty of dry moments.
This weather pattern isn’t going anywhere until late this week. We’ll stay warm and humid, and the rain chances will remain. A cold front will push into the region by the start of the weekend, so we’ll keep a chance of rain around into part of the day Saturday after which drier air may finally push in for the end of the weekend.
