We’re still stuck in the same weather pattern we’ve been in, so don’t look for much change in the weather today. Warm and humid conditions stick around; the scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around as well. Locally heavy rain will again be a possibility anywhere in the region, with the areas within the flood watch standing the best chance of localized flooding.
Temperatures will climb on us for Thursday, but the humidity and the rain chances won’t leave…yet. That changes for the weekend; a cold front moves through on Friday, and we’ll see a chance of showers and thunder with the front. The best chance for rain may be off to our east by late in the day, with drier air moving in. This would set us up for a drier, less humid weekend, although temperatures will remain warm.
