Melissa Ponder-Larson, widow of Superbike murder victim Scott Ponder, now lives in Arizona. News Channel 7's Tom Crabtree interviewed her Thursday night 11/5 via telephone for her thoughts on the still unsolved Superbike case. Friday 11/6 marks the sixth anniversary of the quadruple murder. The following is a transcript of the interview:

Q: WILL YOU TRY TO FORGET THIS ANNIVERSARY, OR WILL YOU OBSERVE IT IN SOME WAY?

"We definitely observe this day. Scotty, my son who I was pregnant with at the time, is now five years old. We have sat down with him, and we have not gone into any grizzly details, but he does know for a fact that someone shot his father when I was pregnant with him. I will not, in the morning, give him the significance of the day. But I will go to school, and I will take him to lunch, and we will do something, him and I. While he's a little boy, we will always do something together because we went through it together. He went through it in a different way than I did, but he was there. So we definitely will. And we always do. He is a kindergartner. He has a lot of his father's attitude, personality, very outgoing little boy, hard to get up in the morning, just like his father."

Q: WHAT ABOUT THE RUMORS, THAT HAVE PERSISTED FOR YEARS, THAT YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT THE CASE THAN YOU'VE SAID?

"They do not know me, and they have no idea the things I have been put through in the past 6 years. They have no idea what my integrity is. They have no idea what my morals are. There's a lot of things they don't know. And i'll be honest with you, I appreciate the opinions of everyone, even if it is something that is negative about me because this is the country we live in. We're entitled to those opinions. But there are a lot of facts surrounding this investigation and things that have happened, and I'm perfectly comfortable with people feeling the way that they do in regards to me. If I did have something to hide, and if there was something I knew, law enforcement would know it. They know more about me than my own parents do. I was polygraphed. I was put through a very extensive investigation. I know for a fact I was followed for some time. I am perfectly comfortable with that. I am comfortable with anyone diving into my life and looking into whatever they would like to because my personal feeling is if you have something to hide, you're going to be defensive, you're not gonna want people to... I want people to because what it does, it clears the question. It gets me out of the way so that they can focus on who they need to be focusing on. I have no problems about them. I'm perfectly comfortable with that. I don't have any negative feelings toward anyone that does have a suspicion towards me. To be honest with you, I used to be that same person. I used to be that person that would kick back and see something on the news, and immediately I'd say the wife had to have something to do with it, or the son. I'm not like that anymore. I'm a little more well-versed in this. So I'm comfortable with it."

Q: SO YOU'RE FLAT-OUT SAYING YOU HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THIS INCIDENT BEFORE IT HAPPENED, YOU DON'T KNOW WHO DID IT, YOU DON'T KNOW WHY THEY DID IT?

"No, absolutely not. And that is the question of the day. If we did, you and I would be having a different kind of conversation right now, rather than what we were talking about. It would be a completely different conversation."
