Greenville Hospital System's MD360 Healthcare Facility Provides After Hours Convenience

There's a new option for healthcare in the Upstate and it's all about convenience. It's called MD360 Convenient Care and it's opening November 10th at 6 a.m.

Dr. James Ellis loves showing off Greenville Hospital System's new facility in Simpsonville called MD360 Convenient Care. It's all about having easy access to healthcare, early in the morning and late into the evening. The facility is open seven days a week as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. With that many hours Ellis hopes patients won't have to wait long to get the care they need.

"I would be surprised if people were not in an out in 45 minutes or so," Ellis said.

MD360 offers comprehensive care for walk-in patients who need physicals or immunizations but they also operate like an urgent care, seeing patients with flu-like symptoms or small wounds that need stitches.

How is MD360 different from an urgent care? Dr. Ellis said, "I think the fact that we have proaxis physical therapy across the hallway where we can immediately get you directly into physical therapy, the fact that we have such extended hours, and our doctors are trained not only in emergency medicine but in family medicine."

So what is it going to cost you to get in an out of MD360? Ellis said you'll pay $75 up front if you don't have insurance. If you do, it will cost you about half of what it would to head to the emergency room.

Ellis said MD360 is not an ER or a replacement for your primary care doctor for serious medical issues.

"We are not an emergency department either we want to be very clear about that," Ellis said. "If someone is having a heart attack or major trauma then they need to go to the ER. We will do some primary care but for chronic long term medical illnesses you're probably best taken care of by your primary care physician.

But if you are someone who needs a quick check up, worried about an infection, or have an injured muscle or broken bone Ellis wants patients to know MD360 is there to help.

MD 360 is located at 300 Scuffletown Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The phone number is (864) 329-0029.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
