Each year, the list of violent crime victims grows in our communities.
For the victim's families it means a lifetime of grief.
But for one night each year, they come together to talk--cry--and give a shoulder to lean on.
The tenth annual candlelight vigil for victims of crime was held in Anderson Monday night.
As the names of the lost were read--family members went up to light a candle in their memory.
Twelve homicide victims were remembered this year, who were not on the list last year. A sad reminder that violence crime continues to plague families across the region.
