**Thursday 11:13 a.m. Update**
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the intersection of Hudson Road and Mitchell Road is back open to traffic Thursday.
A busy road in Greenville is closed, and there may be some power outages due to an early morning accident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened at the intersection of Hudson and Mitchell Roads just before two o'clock Thursday morning.
News Channel 7 video of the scene showed a power line snapped in half. Wade Hampton Firefighters said crews are working to fix the pole and power outages could occur in the area while repairs are completed.
Duke Energy said the road could be blocked until as late as ten o'clock Thursday morning. Check back for updates here and on News Channel 7 Daybreak.
