The driver of a car that crashed died early Friday in Greenville County.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not released the name of the man who was killed in the crash on Jacobs Road near U.S. 25.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver went off Jacobs Road at a curve and hit a tree around 3:00 a.m. Friday. He was not wearing a seat belt according to troopers who say speed was a factor in the crash.
The coroner's investigator declared him dead at the scene.
