A man was taken to Greenville Memorial after he walked into a church with a gun, according to Greer Police. The man entered Praise Cathedral in Greer Saturday, according to the police report. He handed a note to a church member, saying he had cancer and wanted to take his own life. Officers found the man in the bathroom, where they say he put the gun in a trash can. Officers transported the man to Greenville Memorial for psychiatric evaulation.
