Anderson Firefighters Fight "Suspicious" Fire

Anderson City Firefighters responded to a house fire on Pickens Street just after 10pm Monday evening. Anderson City Fire Chief Jack Abraham tells News Channel 7 the fire is “suspicious”. The tenants who had been renting the home had just moved out today. Neighbors say they saw two men go into the home around 9pm. Firefighters found a couch on fire inside the home. There home did not suffer much structural fire damage, but the home did suffer smoke damage.
